primary requirements
Qualifications:
- This position requires a BS/BA in marketing, management, sales or engineering and a minimum of 2 years direct sales experience.
- The position also requires demonstrated ability to determine and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and knowledge of working with commercial and/or industrial customers is preferred.
- Also required are effective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service and problem solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and negotiation skills are also required as well as a valid driver’s license.
- Advanced sales training is a plus.
primary duties
The Sales Rep will be responsible for promoting the sale to Commercial and Industrial Customers and will assist in the development and application of policies, ensuring that revenue is maximized.
This position will provide high-level rate and tariff interpretation to support business as well as plan and manage the client’s strategy and relationships with Commercial & Industrial customers.
other duties
The position will optimize relationships with Commercial and Industrial customers and will provide assigned Commercial & Industrial Accounts with excellent account management including technical assistance and rate analyses.
This position will promote and manage Conservation and Load Management programs as well as plan and execute strategy to avoid customer bypass, including negotiating long-term pricing agreements, use of incentive rates and involvement of other company and outside resources.

This position will work across all departments involved in the end to end gas sales process to optimize the efficiency by employing a continuous process improvement methodology.
