primary duties

This will include developing an intimate understanding and insight of the complex operational aspects of;
  •   the topside located subsea hardware (SPCU, SDPU, HPU, MVP, TUTUs) etc,
  •   all chemical, hydraulic and electrical distribution to the Subsea Production Systems, specifically, trees, manifolds, jumpers and spools,
  •   all supplementary installed subsea instrumentation
  •   all flowlines and export pipelines including SSIVs,
  •   all Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) tie-ins and connections,
  •   any Direct Electrical Heating (DEH) effects on control technology
  •   the control system planned and unplanned maintenance and intervention, including sparing
  •   Advise and check the operational aspects of the project functional specifications and incorporated hardware.
  •   Provide technical support and monitoring during manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing and installation of subsea controls equipment and instrumentation to ensure delivery is in-line with Operations goals and objectives.

other duties

  •  Advise and check the operational match of the control system(s) to well, flowline and field operability and flow assurance, integrating all operational modes with interlocks, pre-requisites, permissives and alarms as displayed on the control system screens for the executive, monitoring and advisory functions including the Flow Assurance Management System (FAMS)
  •  Assist with project planning and procedures for controls, hardware and systems post-delivery.
  •  Assist with environmental issues relating to control fluid discharges during the life of field.
  •  Assist with the capture and transfer of lessons learnt and best practices from other subsea projects and industry relevant to the subsea controls scope.
  •  Deliver and promote strong HSE performance

other notes

Serve as Operations interface point for project subsea controls and instrument hardware. Develop a relationship and dialogue with the Project Engineering, Subsea Hardware ,Installation and Commissioning teams to understand and influence the detail of continuity from design to successful start up and the ongoing operation of the field.
