We are looking for a competent Caregivers to care for our elderly resident in a professional and compassionate manner in our managed nursing homes across Australia. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Address client needs with respect and attention to safetyAssist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroomActively engage clients through conversation and companionshipEngage with clients in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignityHelp with meal preparation, planning, and grocery shoppingPerform light housekeeping dutiesHelp clients with physical therapy exercisesReport any unusual incidents or behaviorAdminister medications as outlinedMaintain a safe environment for clients

Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a caregiver of 2 - 3 yearsExcellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsAbility to pass a required TB test and physical examRespectful and compassionateGood time management skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ethicsMust be at least 22 - 55 years of ageMust be FemalePhysical enduranceCurrent first aid certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentCaregiver CertificateNursing CertificateMidwife Certificate
