.net C# Software Engineer - Gps Gis Electronic Manufacturing

The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-going maintenance of manufacturing support software for complex GNSS receiver and data-collector products and for the development of manufacturing support software for new products, working with project teams to establish functional-test, configuration and reporting requirements. Our manufacturing test and configuration infrastructure relies on distributed components running across the desktop, Windows Embedded platforms and MS SQL-server databases. The framework has been developed using .NET technologies, making extensive use of modern frameworks such as WPF, WCF and MEF.

This position requires extensive interaction with internal engineering groups as well as external partners connected with the development of the manufacturing process. Some international travel will be required to our manufacturing locations (so a current passport is essential). The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as with the other engineering team members to implement the software and provide effective technical solutions. You must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, as well as communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
